So you recently got engaged, congrats! It’s such a fun time in your life to finally be able to celebrate you and your beau’s love with all the favorite people in your lives.

If you missed it, I recently got engaged as well! I wrote all about the proposal here. We’ve decided on a bit of a longer engagement, so it’s been so nice to relax and just soak up the excitement before jumping into planning mode.

One of the first (& only things!) I’ve done so far is ask my bridesmaids and maid of honour to be by my side! For me I wanted it to be special, so I’m going to share some cute ways to pop the question to your special bride tribe.

What To Expect After Getting Engaged

If you haven’t heard the news, Justin and I got engaged back in September! You can read all about the proposal here, and check my Instagram for lots of ring pictures and updates!

Since then, I’ve been doing a lot (& I mean a lot) of reading and research on weddings. We’ve decided to have a bit of a longer engagement (two years ish), as we don’t plan on doing any major planning or booking until the new year.

So far it’s been so fun just to read up, throw ideas around and fantasize a bit.

I’ve come across a lot of information about being newly engaged, and I thought it would be fun to share that! Though we already live together, so not much has changed (or will change with marriage), some things do feel different now that we’re engaged.

If ya haven’t heard the news, on September 21st Justin and I got engaged! We’ve been together for about 6.5 years, are high school sweethearts and are SO beyond excited. The weekend we got engaged was so so magical and I want to remember all the cute and silly details forever – thus why this post!
